  • Turning the thermostat up 1.5C in the summer & down 1.5C in the winter cuts 400KG of CO2 emissions each year. What you do counts.
  • If you must drive, then carpool! and turn off the car while you wait. What you do counts.
  • Replace your light bulbs with CFLs. CFLs use 75% less energy and last up to 10 times longer.
  • If 10 out of every 100 cellphones were unplugged once fully charged, the energy saved could power 60,000 homes per year.
  • Ditch the car and use public transportation, walk, bike, or roller-blade to where you want to go. What you do counts.
  • Use a fan instead of air conditioning and put on a sweater before you turn up the heat. What you do counts.
  • RECYCLE! What you do counts.
  • A TV set can run for 3 hours on the energy saved by recycling just one soda can. RECYCLE!
  • Turning off unneeded lights in a building can reduce the energy used for lighting by up to 45%
  • The amount of energy saved from recycling 1 plastic bottle can power a 60-Watt light bulb for 6 hours! What you do counts.
  • Turning off the tap while you brush your teeth can save 10,902 liters of water each year. What you do counts!
  • Imagine the additional savings if you turn off the tap while you soap, shave, or wash dishes! What you do counts.
